Pelicant Point has club rentals  for about $20 a round we’re not sure how many sets they have so it might not be a bad idea to call them and reserve a set if you will be needing them. I’ll try and find the number and post it

WINTER MEETING

18 Sandtrapers showed up at Jameson's last thursday for a little winter get together. Not much was accomplished a few topics were discussed like HC's, moving up to senior tees, play it where it lies on hills or off hills, and who's going to Venice for the Sandtraps South West Florida Golf tournament on March 13, 2018. A few men were missing from the meeting most notebly Mr. Anonymous?? I hope he's making the trip south.

  Congratulations to Jim Woods got a hole in one on the 14th par 3 on Cedar Hammocks golf course. 

Southwest Florida Golf Outing

Tee times have been secured again this year at Pelicant Point Golf Club in Venice Florida for the 13th. Of March that’s a Tuesday. Spread the word anyone going to be in Florida around then and would like to play just let us know.

Don’t forget Jamesons tomorrow at 4pm if  anyone is still around. More information on Venice golf will follow.

PLAY READY GOLF

One of our members was good enough to forward me the rules of ready golf.  Makes sense to me if every one follows the READY GOLF Rules it should  go a long way in speeding up our rounds. The rule are simple you just have to make a conscious effort to follow them.

Winter Meeting

Next thursday Jan. 18, 2018 at 4:00PM there will be a meeting at Jameson"s topic of conversation will be Rule changes and Schedule for the upcoming 2018 season. If you are still in town and haven't froze to death yet please show up. First drink is on Kevin Murphy?
